Designed for universities, this web-based software facilitates coordination of student roadtrips to their hometowns, allowing those without a vehicle to search for and join someone else's trip.
The software is being written in PHP and utilizes PostgreSQL. The goal is to have this software in functional state (alpha stage) by June 2005.
The pilot will be the University of Texas at Dallas—this software is being written by senators of the university's Student Government Association.
It is currently in very early development. There are documents (below) that outline this software's desired operation.
